Nine People Dead and Multiple Injured in FedEx Truck Collision

Nine people were sadly killed and dozens more were injured in a collision that involved a FedEx truck and a charter bus. The charter bus was carrying high school students from Southern California.

The collision happened on Interstate 5 North of Highway 32. This was in Glenn County.

The accident happened with the FedEx truck was heading southbound and then crossed the center divider and then crashed head on into the bus. According to the California Highway Patrol, both of the vehicles exploded into flames. There were speculation that there might have been a third vehicle involved.

An aerial video of the wreckage showed the devastation.

The video also showed the dozens of students that were wandering around the burned remains of the tour bus. A lot of the students seemed dazed and some were bleeding from their injuries (cuts to their hands and faces).

Rescuers helped the student that were waiting on ambulances. There is no certainty of how many students were hospitalized or how severe their injuries were.

The drivers of the FedEx truck as well as the charter bus were some of the ones who were dead.
